How do I get into the building outside the house with the skeleton lock. I moved the arms and legs every which way and nothing happened. Do I need to have the flower for the statue?

Lisa

You'll find the answer in the kitchen. Look around in there. The statue is for a separate puzzle and gives you the moon for the fireplace lock. Good luck you've got a long way to go!!!

Love this game, anyone who hates regular hidden object games, this is more like an adventure.

cherieb1956

Help with return to ravenhearst! How do I get into the cellar below the school? I can't figure out what to do.

Lisa

Cherie, I don't know how I got through that school cellar door. I clicked on it a bunch of times when I first found it, but then I walked around and did other puzzles for a long time.

After I got the pot holder I went back to the cellar door and just clicked once on it and suddenly it was open. The weird thing is now I don't have my pot holder!!! I think I need it later but it's gone!

Maybe someone else knows something...

Lisa

Ok, I figured out that you have to look at the stove and use the pot holder - for the pattern needed to solve the school cellar door puzzle. That's why when just by dumb luck I picked the right pattern the game took away my pot holder.

Now I'm stuck on the shooting gallery puzzle (with the rabbit and clouds in the background). I'm not sure how to do it but it seems to need fast clicking!!!

Dr. Sox

Grrr. I finally got past that shooting gallery door lock and now I need to get fire somehow. I'm at the two bowls full of kindling. Any hints for an old man?

And does anyone else have the music for this game stuck in their head? I keep repeating the fast downward violin riff. Excellent music.

christy

i have tried every thing with the puzzle above the fireplace in the house and the sun and moon puzzle please help

Dr. Sox

Christy, have you found the sun and moon inset pieces? The moon is obtained from the statue near the fish pond and skeleton lock. You give her the flower she asks for and she gives you the moon piece. I can't recall where the sun half comes from.

Once you have those two colorful pieces in the fireplace, you have to move the two correct symbols to the two circle spaces on the puzzle. Look in your casebook for clues. They go to the opposite sides next to what they equal. Put them in and the secret passage opens.

scce76

The sun half comes from the puzzle that you do after finding the hidden objects through the door with the skeleton on it. There are bushes to the right you need to clear off.

I'm almost finished the game but I can't find the last heart to open the door with the locket. I've done everything possible I can think of. Any help would be appriciated.

Uh, wow. Everyone else is really far in this game. I just got it today but I can't figure out what to do with the lock to the door on the garden with the bird skeleton. What do I do???

hb730310

Ok nevermind, how do I get into the house? I know that you have to get the key from the cat but what do I give the cat to play with? And how do I get it? PLease any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dr. Sox

You use the brick to get into the house, not a key. I'll let you figure out where to use it.

The cat is distracted by what it wants most. It's actually kind of cruel (but cute).

robin

I finished the game!!! I really liked it because it was longer than most games I've played. I would def recommend buying this one.

Diana

I am at the phone and none of the numbers work...Love the game, just stuck. Any HO addicts will love it as much

susiet53

Can anyone help me with the stove and potholder I cannot work it out.

sweetie

I'm stuck on the gargoyle puzzle. I downloaded a walk-through and it mentioned that the screenshots were there, but they weren't. This is the puzzle where you have to trace the lines with the blue gem, and can only go one way.

berlee74

I got the code from cash register, but when I put the numbers in the box near the elevator and hit the red button, it does not open.

berlee74

For the stove and potholder, you have to set it for 500 degrees, and look at the design lit up on the top. Make sure the celler door matches, and it will open.

Toddmo

The temperature isn't always 500 degrees so make sure you look at it closely.
