Help!!! I have been stuck in Hekla in Iceland for about a month. Can anyone help with this?
I can't seem to get to the frozen jewels near the bottom of the screen in Hekla. Does anyone have a walkthrough for this?
HEKLA! I FINALLY DID IT! Here is How:
-Played over and over, always working on left side (or right, depending on which side had the better set up for matching jewels vertically first),till I melted 2 iced jewels, then playing on other side till I melted 2 iced jewels.
-RESTARTED the board every time I did not melt the first 4 iced jewels w/o PLENTY of time to get to the rest.
-When there are just 2 left to melt (one bottom right, one bottom left), make sure you have 3 OR LESS fire jewels on the board and then do a Hail Mary move on each side (that means set up jewels above the last iced jewel so that they will match and disappear leaving an opportunity (I say, Hail Mary every time -a little prayer) for a fire jewel to land in the vacant space above the last remaining iced jewel.
-I was never able to move a fire jewel over to melt the last pieces. Only Hail Mary worked for me.
-Repeat Hail Mary moves for a match to make the last space gold on either side. It is total chance/luck that it will work in time, but you only need to do it once! Hope this helps somebody...
I'm having trouble with gold level Kalgoorlie in Australia. Whats the trick to getting the bottom four blocks done after the locks are open? I've tried it a hundred times and can't get close.
Hey Orangity/Orange -
Do you mean you're relying on purk luck that the next one to drop will match the bottom ones?
I can never get that last block to turn gold.
Pacific NW Hidden quest - I saw that the answer is to use 3 or less white jewels, but the only world that could possible support is White Horse - is this one the key?
White Horse is the Key - fill in all the gold, don't let any white drop off - then fill in the three spots.
desertrose: did you ever find out how to beat Sebastian? He's driving me crazy!
FINALLY - I made it to East Asia. It seems almost impossible to get a location done in the time allowed. I know the watches add time, but there are never enough of them.
Any hints or strategies?
I am stuck on North Pacific, Alaska and its hidden quest. I have reached 73% but I cannot stop white pearls and so I never get to an end filling gold squares. Thanks for any hint
You'll spend as much time getting rid of extra pearls as getting those last few squares to gold. The easiest location for the hidden quest is Whitehorse. Get the bottom square, then the lower left and right. It's easier to get rid of the extra pearls when you are working closer to the top. If you end up using more the 3 pearls, just restart the board.
P.S. I finished the game - 100%.
It takes a lot of luck and planning on the later locations.
Hi, I'm new to the site, nice to meet you. Can anyone tell me how to get from silver quest to gold quest please?
. When I play the Hidden Quest the buttons stay silver. Started from scratch but no good. Please help - I'm addicted to this game.
lisabette...it just takes persistance as far as I can tell. I finally beat him, but he always gets to go first. Speed seems to be the name of the game.
Orangity Orange...thanks for the hint. I have been trying this same stategy..Again, it takes persistance.
I cannot get moving on the hidden quest in Europe. I tried the 3 same original moves as suggested above, andnothing changed (the dot stayed silver). Help!
Tip for Hiden Quest in China:
You can line monkeys (3 in row or more) but you cannot let them to fall down from board or (!!!) escape from cage.
Ohh, and yes, all the spaces have to be turned to gold.
Tip fpr Sebastian:
look for the best move next to last Sebastians move. He is building his board-moves. When you will get "his" next move he will let you know about that with his face (
). It is also good to not let him to get to many points at the begining.
when there are only a few moves left to be had stay away from them, play in the opposite side let Seb. set up moves for you. otherwise he uses your setups.
I can't get past the quest where you have to get the gold coins to unlock the locks. there aren't enough gold coins that come down and not enough time. any suggestions?????
playing on oposite side is giving Sebastian more moves than you. On this boards task is to beat oponent by using his strategy and take his moves. And when Sebastian will start to have more points than you or wont have any moves that will give him more points he will start to play 'on time' on safe area of the board waiting for ours mistake and oportunity that you will give him.
But i guess everyone have own ways to play.
Gold coins on this stage are limited. So use them wisely.
I'm stumped on Hekla the bottom l/r corner frozen jewels. Somebody mentioned watches giving more time, where do you get the watches????? This last one driving me nuts.
