How do I enter the gates? My cursor is not turning purple. Thank you.

you have to wave the cursor over the windows up on the top. Then the puzzle with letters will be shown.

I'm at the box in a niche with one jewel on it. I've used the glue, but then I'm stuck. Thought I got a green jewel when the right sided passage open, but it is not in inventory.

Solved the problem with the box. spoiler → Wave cursor on the left side of the screen, where it will find a crack between the walls, and turns purple ←
